Popped into The Station Hotel after work and was really impressed. As a woman on my own, I felt completely comfortable the moment I walked in. The lady behind the bar was so friendly and had a great sense of humour. I found a quiet spot, and everyone just let me get on with my work on my iPad, no hassle at all. Really chilled, welcoming place. Will definitely be visiting again!

Under new management, Gemma only having taken over last weekend. At present it is just a pub although Gemma has great plans for the future which will hopefully be backed by the pub company As the name suggests it is right next to Nelson Interchange so ideal for local buses and the (limited) rail services.
